Retreats and Intensives are intended to fill a gap in mental health and wellness services.
If you need to address a significant issue but feel a weekly therapy hour isn't enough, or the traditional 9-3 PM, Monday through Friday, out-patient programs feel like too much, our three day per week - 60 min Intensive Group Therapy Program could be the perfect fit for you.
The Intensive Group Therapy Program provides time to do in-depth work while staying present in other aspects of your life.
It is not unusual for participants to have active relationships with other providers who do not offer this service or do not have time in their schedule to provide intensive support for their clients.
With this stand-alone or adjunct care model, individuals return to their providers at the end of the 4-week program. Coordination with all service providers is included in this program.
If you do not have a provider and would like to transition to weekly individual therapy at Better Self Better Life, you are welcome to do so (as space allows) or be placed on our waitlist.
You might also consider stepping down to a once-per-week
group therapy session.
The program is facilitated by a senior-level, licensed therapist with extensive, intensive group therapy experience.
We offer this program In-Person for local participants or through a secure, Telehealth platform. You may switch between attending In-Person or by Telehealth based on your schedule and convenience, feel free to choose either with 24 hr. notice.
This program is limited to 4-6 screened adult participants.

Choose from morning sessions from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM or evening sessions from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Intensive sessions are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Participants receive two group therapy sessions (Monday and Thursday) and one psychoeducation group session (Wednesday) every week for 4 weeks.
As with all our fee-for-service programs at Better Self Better Life Inc., you can keep your health information private or request a super bill for reimbursement.
